When Norman Reedus goes on a  hiatus from The Walking Dead he decides to catch a quick basketball game courtside with few good friends.

As the winter hiatus from Season 7 of The Walking Dead looms, Norman Reedus is keeping busy taking in the sights and catching up with friends who he doesn’t regularly see on the set of AMC’s zombie survival drama.

Recently, Reedus was spotted courtside at an NBA game with good friend Kevin Bacon and Kevin’s daughter Sosie. Norman and Kevin made time out of their busy schedules to relax and watch the New York Knicks and the New Orleans Pelicans play at Madison Square Garden.

It is always great to see Reedus make time in between the filming of his 2nd season of Ride with Norman Reedus and The Walking Dead to laugh and relax through 4 quarters of watching the Knicks play. Some pictures from the game can be found on PopSugar.

To be a fly on the seat next to Norman Reedus and find out what makes him smile would be a fan’s dream come true. With two major celebrities like Norman Reedus and Kevin Bacon together, the crowd had to be a bit smitten by the sight.

I wonder if Norman planned his escape route while at Madison Square Garden, just in case the zombie apocalypse breaks out during halftime at the game. After all he is the crossbow wielding character Daryl on The Walking Dead.

Kudos to Mr. Reedus for squeezing in a few hoops on his time off and reconnecting with friends between  his busy schedules.
