Chandler Riggs, will host an AMA (Ask Me Anything) Session over on Reddit on February 13th (4PM EST).

According to this post on Reddit’s Walking Dead subreddit, Carl Grimes himself will be answering fan questions online. Questions regarding spoilers will be obviously disregarded, no shortcuts but actually watching folks. In fact, according to the Reddit user who made the AMA announcement, asking for spoilers will result in a ban. Rumors have been swirling the last few months that Riggs might be leaving his on-screen home for college now that his 7-year contract to AMC is reportedly fulfilled.

Chandler mentioned his University acceptance to Auburn University on Twitter on November 7, 2016.

His father William Riggs used the hashtag #freedom on Instagram when discussing Chandler’s completed 7 years on The Walking Dead.

Now, neither the Tweet or Instagram post necessarily guarantee Carl’s exit from the show. Plenty of shows have had characters temporarily written off like Becky from Roseanne back in the 90s. However, it will be a bit tricker on this type of show. Chandler Riggs going to attend University doesn’t mean he won’t be able to shoot in-between semesters or perhaps a reduced on-screen role meanwhile. Character demise is not imminent spoiler seekers.

Users will likely try to utilize these real life facts to dance around the spoiler question (dodging a ban). Riggs is said to browse The Walking Dead subreddit and even comments once in a while so he’ll be ready and prepped for potential questions. Plus online, you can always skip a question or two. Reddit’s Walking Dead fanbase has already responded positively to the upcoming AMA with 102 comments at the time of this article’s publishing.
