Karen Ceesay took over our Twitter this morning and to answer questions and chat with our followers about The Walking Dead and Rings.
Karen Ceesay plays Hilltop resident Bertie on The Walking Dead. She couldn’t tell us anything about what will happen in the second half of the season that will begin again next Sunday, but she joined our Twitter followers for a lovely chat about her experiences on the show.
Karen is also in the movie Rings, which opened yesterday in theaters. Karen’s Twitter profile picture is a cake from the set of Rings, which some of our Twitter followers found very cool. Karen is not a horror fan though; she’s a scaredy cat and a comedy lover.
The Twitter Takeover was in the morning, which was great for the European fans. One of our favorite Twitter followers, LInda from France, was prepared. She had questions translated and ready to fire at Karen as soon as Karen arrived.
Twitter Takeover with @karenceesay starts in a few minutes.

#undeadchat #Hilltop has created a strong community in unbelievable circumstances. They are still pretty naive.

The cast is SO BIG so it's difficult to name everyone. But I'd love to meet the Alexandrians & The Kingdom folks!

Yes! My first scene was with several walkers. I had killed some so I had blood dripping from my knife. No one saw it tho.

Hopefully die in the first wave. We want to think we'll be strong, but methinks I'd be out pretty quickly.

Michonne seems to have it together with the katana. You don't need anything but the ability to be swift.

If you’re a fan of horror, check out Rings in theaters now. Join the Atlanta filming community and many of The Walking Dead family tomorrow cheering for the Atlanta Falcons when they play the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Next Sunday, February 12th, The Walking Dead returns for the second half of season 7. We hope to see more of Bertie and Hilltop as Rick and the group attempt to recruit Hilltop and Kingdom in the fight against Negan and the Saviors.
Thank you so much to Karen Ceesay for chatting with us on Twitter. The actors of The Walking Dead have been so gracious and kind to join us. It is really fun to talk to them and ask questions. Elizabeth Ludlow will join us next. More Saviors and Kingdom members are scheduled as well.
