The Walking Dead’s Lucille is hitting MLB Spring Training
Move over Negan, it’s time for baseball season and as players arrive at Spring Training 2017 it’s Lucille who gets the call up to the major league.
The Walking Dead is back on the air as Major League Baseball players across the country are making the journey South for Spring Training 2017. They’re gathering in Florida and Arizona, and several players have some new equipment to debut.
There’s no better place for a barbed-wire bat than on the baseball field, ready to smash some homers over the wall. Smashing home runs is a lot better than smashing, say, someone’s head, don’t you think?
The latest Lucille sighting takes us to the Los Angeles Dodgers winter home in Glendale, Arizona. Dodgers’ resident slugger Yasiel Puig was seen wielding Lucille in the locker room, looking like he’s ready to report for duty. The Cuban-born ball player averaged .263 last season with 11 home runs and 45 RBIs.
Next: Mets ace Noah Syndergaard is taking Lucille to Spring Training
We’ve also seen Lucille show up in the New York Mets’ locker room as Mets’ ace pitcher Noah Syndergaard put in a special equipment request for the Dirty Girl. Syndergaard has been looking for something to give him an edge in his ongoing feud with Mets mascot Mr. Met.
