Rick goes 1-on-1 with spiky walker Winslow during The Walking Dead 710

Rick Grimes got tested in a big way during The Walking Dead episode 710 when he went one-on-one with an armored and spiked walker named Winslow.
AMC’s zombie survival drama series The Walking Dead has been putting challenges in front of Rick Grimes ever since its debut. However, the leader of Alexandria faced one of his biggest challenges in episode 710 titled ‘New Best Friends’.
When trying to make a deal with a new group of survivors called The Scavengers, Rick was given a huge test by their leader Jadis. In order to be deemed worthy, he would need to defeat one of the most interesting walkers on the show yet!

Jadis started the test by pushing Rick down a mountain of garbage into a circle made of trash and metal. Inside that circle was an armored walker covered in spikes that was later discovered to be named Winslow.

Winslow got the best of Rick from the start. Unsure of what to do, Rick’s hand got impaled on the walker’s helmet and suffered a big slice to his leg during the fight. For a while, it looked like Rick had met his match.
Prompting him through a pipe, Michonne told Rick to use the trash to his advantage. After hearing that, Rick started pulling the bags down on the walker, burying him in the rubbish. Looking around, he wrapped his hand with some cloth and picked up some broken glass on the ground to make a makeshift knife.
After finishing off the walker, Jadis lowered a rope to Rick and helped him back up to the top of ‘Up Up Up’ where they finished negotiating the details of their deal.
