Previously on The Walking Dead: Catching up for episode 712 ‘Say Yes’
By Adam Carlson
Let’s take a look back at episode 711 of AMC’s The Walking Dead to prepare for episode 712 titled ‘Say Yes’ on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
On last week’s episode of The Walking Dead, fans were treated to a look inside The Sanctuary where Negan and The Saviors dealt with the escaping of Sherry and Daryl as well as attempted to convince Eugene to join their side.
A lot of things happened during this episode, which only focused on Dwight and the others at The Sanctuary. In fact, much of this episode centered around the former husband of Sherry, who was also held responsible for the escape of Daryl initially.
Negan gave Dwight one more chance to prove his loyalty to The Saviors, and he took full advantage of the situation. After reading a crushing ‘Dear John’ letter from Sherry, Dwight pinned the escapes on Dr. Carson.
At first, it appeared as though Negan would take mercy on Carson, but that was not the case. After hitting him in the body with Lucille a couple of times, he grabbed the doctor by the coat and threw him into the fire, burning him alive.

Eugene also got tested. Negan’s wives, Frankie and Tonya, asked him to make a pill that would give Amber the release of death. Once he made the pills, he refused to give them to the girls, understanding that Negan was the target, and not Amber.
With Fat Joey and Dr. Carson dead and Daryl and Sherry escaped, the focus now shifts to the Sunday, March 5, 2017 episode which will focus on the people of Alexandria looking for supplies to give The Saviors and guns to give The Scavengers.
There is a chance that Daryl, Sherry, or even Dwight could make an appearance in this episode, but odds are that episode 712 will instead center around Rick, his relationship with Michonne, and the people of Alexandria struggling to fulfill their obligations to the other communities.
