9. Stomped and Splattered Walker

There’s been a lot of creative ways that the survivors have killed walkers. Beth’s stomping the head of a walker and causing blood and brains to splatter everywhere isn’t particularly brutal compared to some of the others.

But it makes the list because for Beth that was a big deal. Timid Beth never became a killer the way that Maggie did. Maggie stepped up and became a powerful fighter who had no qualms about killing walkers or people when necessary. But Beth didn’t follow in her sister’s footsteps. Beth preferred to let others do the killing for her.

So when she tried to escape Grady Memorial in “Slabtown” and stomps a walker to death in the parking lot it’s a big deal for her. She and Noah are so close to getting out. When Beth kills the walker by stomping on the head she found an inner strength that no one really knew she had.

Beth’s killing of the walker and her willingness to take the fall so that Noah could escape showed growth and maturity. If she had lived it would have been interesting to see if she would have eventually gotten to be a stronger person that was able to kill walkers without hesitation like her sister.
