Robert Kirkman’s Invincible Getting Film Adaptation from Seth Rogan, Evan Goldberg

Robert Kirkman’s comic book ‘Invincible’ is getting a major film adaption by none other than pals Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg! Big Universal Pictures news.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Kirkman’s long running Invincible comic series will finally arrive at your local AMC after being in publication since 2003. Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, will be taking charge by writing, producing, and directing Invincible’s major motion picture debut.
Invincible comic fans will be happy to know Kirkman will also be producing the movie, along with Walking Dead producer David Alpert and Skybound Entertainment’s Bryan and Sean Furst. Long term fans need not fret, the series is in good hands.
Invincible is Kirkman’s second longest running comic book series behind The Walking Dead and is said to be ending with issue #144 in late 2017.

Kirkman (Writer) and co-creator Cory Walker (Artist) as well as Ryan Ottley (Artist since Issue 8) have long seen Invincible as ‘celebrating what we love about superhero comics but putting our own spin on them and the tropes of the genre.’
Invincible’s lead Mark Grayson explores the theme of being the son of a hero Omni-man and the responsibilities that come with being a hero. Kirkman put over the team of Rogan and Goldberg highly in his statement regarding the Universal Pictures announcement.

Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg’s Promising Statement
Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg similarly released their own statement, promising to put their own health and relationships aside and not rest until Invincible is guaranteed to be the the top notch film it deserves to be.

The writing duo is currently behind Hulu’s upcoming Future Man, directing/producing 13 episodes of the the comedy sci-fi about a janitor who fights against an intergalactic invasion.
