Topps brings The Walking Dead to life in Season 7 of trading cards

Topps will be bringing the excitement of The Walking Dead to trading card form with Season 7 of their product based on the hit AMC zombie survival drama.

The Walking Dead is one of the biggest franchises on the planet. The undead have devoured massive television ratings on AMC, been the plot of an excellent comic book, taken the video game world by storm, and much, much more!

Fans are eating up everything the hot property has to offer, including the trading cards based on the hit tv show. Topps recently revealed that Season 7 of their cards are scheduled be released on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, giving fans something fun to look forward to.

The set will be made up of 100 base cards plus inserts, relics, and autographs. Here are some of the designs that were released and shared by Beckett, but keep in mind that final cards may not have this appearance as they are subject to change before final printing:

In addition to those, some other cards will be inserts featuring characters on variant backgrounds or with up to 3 actor autographs on them. Here are some more of the preview cards that were released:

The parallel versions of the cards are where the real rarity come into play. These limited edition cards are individually numbered and will carry a much higher value to collectors based on how difficult they will be to get.
