The Walking Dead stars take time off from filming for Walker Stalker Nashville

Your favorite stars of AMC’s The Walking Dead will be taking a break from filming season 8 to attend Walker Stalker Nashville. Will you be there too?

Filming for The Walking Dead season 8 starts soon but that isn’t stopping some of the stars from taking time out to meet fans at Walker Stalker Nashville on June 3rd and 4th. New guests are still being added but if you’re planning to attend it’s a good idea to get tickets now because Walker Stalker cons are always popular and frequently sell out.

Some of the starts that have been announced for Walker Stalker Nashville are: Melissa McBride, Steven Yeun, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Alanna Masterson, Austin Amelio, Chandler Riggs, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Josh McDermitt, Khary Payton, Katelyn Nacon, Norman Reedus, Michael Cudlitz, Pollyanna McIntosh, Scott Wilson and Steven Ogg. Tom Payne will also be there.

There are a lot of great group photo ops available with the various cast members. But if you’re planning on going remember that online photo op sales will close on May 31st. Photo ops sell out fast so don’t wait to get yours.

Carol fans should try to make it to Nashville for the chance to get photos with Melissa McBride because she doesn’t do a lot of cons but she is doing this one. She is also appearing at  Walker Stalker Atlanta in October.

Surviving Hiatus

Going to cons like Walker Stalker is a great way to survive the long hiatus while The Walking Dead season 8 is filming. Aside from the chance to meet your favorite stars and get photos with them it’s fun to spend some time with other fans who love the show.

Season 8 is shaping up to a very intense season as the war between The Saviors and the survivors kicks into high gear. Your favorites may not survive the first half of season 8 so you might want to get photos with them now.

Attending cons is also a great way to connect with the stars whose characters have already been killed off on the show. Scott Wilson, Steven Yeun, and Michael Cudlitz are still very much a part of the TWDFamily even though Hershel, Glenn and Abe have not survived. The influence of those beloved characters will always be present on The Walking Dead.

Walker Stalker Nashville takes place the first weekend in June this year at the Music City Center. Tickets and photo ops are on sale now and selling out fast.
