The Walking Dead fans rally to support Josh McDermitt on social media

The Walking Dead star Josh McDermitt recently deleted all his social media accounts. Fans quickly rallied to show support for the actor who plays Eugene.
The cast and crew of The Walking Dead are usually very active on social media. They interact with fans and do a lot to keep the spirits of the fan community high. And usually the fans do the same, returning the enthusiasm and support that the stars have for the fan community.
But there are always trolls on social media. Lately, Josh McDermitt came under fire from some trolls who took issue with Eugene’s actions. Getting some particularly nasty comments and threats may have led Josh to take a break from social media entirely.
Josh’s profiles on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram have all been taken down. No official reason has been given, but it was clear that Josh had been getting some backlash for his character’s decision to stay with Negan and The Saviors.
The Walking Dead fanbase is massive. The show has tens of millions of fans. And the vast majority of those fans are supportive of the stars and thankful for all the effort that the cast and crew put into making such a great show. Josh may not be on social media any longer, but #TWDFamily is showing their support for him on social media anyway.

Show Your Ongoing Support For Josh
The best way to combat the hate and negativity online is not to contribute to it. Instead of focusing on hunting down and punishing those trolls who are hateful online show send positive and supportive messages.
