Fear The Walking Dead Villains: Who’s The Worst, Part 2
By Liam O'Leary
Who’s the worst?
It’s a tough question. This season, no one quite stood out like The Governor, or Negan, or my personal number one Walking Dead villain, Martin.
While we did have a wide selection to choose from, I feel like either we didn’t get enough time with them, or they didn’t do enough to truly stand out in their villainy.
However, given the villains we have to choose from, I have to go with Reed.
While we don’t know how many, to the best of our knowledge, Reed may have the highest body count of any villain this season.
What’s more, unlike, say, Marco, who kills because it’s part of his everyday existence as a gangster, Reed seems to kill because he likes it.
Chris didn’t. Celia, Brandon and Derek didn’t seem to care, and Connor, as far as we know, never killed anyone.
Reed, on the other hand, seemed a creature unto himself. In fact, it seems like Reed could easily have been a serial killer before the outbreak.
Unlike Chris, who clearly went off the deep end after losing his mom, Reed seems like he’d always been a monster wanting to break free.
In a brutal world like a zombie apocalypse, it takes something to stand out for your violence. Reed succeeded in doing just that.
Reed didn’t simply have a callous disregard for life, but seemed to enjoy torturing and killing. He was predator loose to terrorize the Pacific and, easily, the worst villain of Season Two of Fear The Walking Dead.
But, what do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Do you think it’s someone else on my list? Someone I overlooked? Let me know in the comments!
