The Walking Dead nominated for makeup award at 2017 Emmys
By Adam Carlson
The Walking Dead did not get completely shut out at the 2017 Emmys, as the hit AMC zombie survival drama series was nominated for a technical award.
In season 7 of The Walking Dead, there were many great performances. Andrew Lincoln did his best acting in the series and newcomers such as Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Khary Payton were unforgettable in their roles of Negan and King Ezekiel.
However. these excellent individual acting performances and powerful episodes from season 7 did not seem to impress the people in charge of nominations at the 2017 Emmys, who only gave the hit AMC zombie survival drama series one nomination.
Much like in the past, The Emmys nominated the popular horror drama in the category of Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Limited Series, Movie, or Special for their work in the season 7 premiere titled ‘The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be’.
