Avi Nash joins the cast of The Walking Dead for season 8
By Adam Carlson
Actor Avi Nash is the latest in a long line of fantastic actors to join the cast of AMC’s zombie drama The Walking Dead just in time for season 8.
The Walking Dead seems to make a habit of casting fantastic and underutilized actors for their hit AMC zombie survival drama series and another recent announcement about the cast keeps that trend alive.
Today, ComicBook.com revealed on their website that Avi Nash will be among the new actors fans will see in season 8. While his specific role has not been announced, there is plenty of speculation as to who he could play.
ComicBook.com speculates that he could be in line to play Siddiq, who does develop into being a very relevant player in the comic book series. However, that doesn’t mean that he will play this role or that Siddiq will have anywhere near the same role he had in the comics.

Fans will need to think hard to remember where they’ve seen Avi Nash, but his relative inexperience doesn’t show when he is on screen.
Nash has enjoyed a small role in the television series Silicon Valley where he played Wajeed, the TV movie Learning To Drive, and recently had a bigger role in the film Barry, which was a look into the life of Barack Obama.
This is another chance for the popular AMC zombie drama to help make a star out of a relatively unknown actor who has enjoyed some success in previous projects on a smaller level. In particular, if he landed the role of Siddiq, it may be a breakout role for the actor from the UK who speaks 7 languages and graduated from Sanford with a Honors in Mathematical and Computational Science, including a concentration in Architecture according to IMDB.
