Are you a flexible person who would love to be on AMC’s The Walking Dead as an extra or in a background role? Don’t miss this casting call in Atlanta!

The Walking Dead is one of the most popular shows on television. Much of the credit for the programs’s success must go to the amazing cast and crew that work hard every day to create zombie survival drama for fans to watch.

For many fans, the idea of appearing on the hit AMC drama is very appealing. However, the opportunities of actually earning a role on the program are few and far between, making casting calls a huge deal for prospective actors.

A casting call has gone out for a specific kind of background actors and extras with unique talents to offer for filming. Posted on backstage.com, the call is looking for contortionists and people with extremely bendable shoulders or arms.

They are seeking males or females between the ages of 18 and 50 years old who “must be able to bend their arms and shoulders in various unique angles.” The position is open people of any ethnicity, with a headshot or photo required to apply.

Applicants should act fast, since the closing date of September 5, 2017. These are paid, non-union positions which will be decided upon by Patrick Ingram, casting director and run through Extras Casting Atlanta.

At this time, it is being assumed that this role is for a unique type of walker. However, the call itself does not specify what the casting call is for. Still, having the casting call available for any actor to get their foot in the door is a huge opportunity.
