Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wife Hilarie Burton are expecting a new addition to the family. The real life Sanctuary has a member due to arrive. Watch out Rick!
Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed the news subtly, by putting his hand over a certain baby bump on Sunday’s Red Carpet… Surprise! The couple, who’ve been together since 2009, already share a son named Augustus (Gus), who Morgan constantly finds himself in awe of. Morgan once told Parade.com‘s Mary Margaret in a 2012 interview, “I know everyone thinks that their kid is the greatest, but I’m telling you right now that my kid is!”.
Hilarie Burton first started a relationship with Mr. Negan back in 2009, giving birth to Augustus in March 2010. What a way to break the news than to do it right at the 69th Emmy Awards with a gesture that tells the story beautifully.
Cool Fact of the Day: Jeffrey Dean Morgan originally named his 7-year old son Augustus after Robert Duvall’s character in the mini-series, Lonesome Dove.

Negan’s fondness to be a father figure on The Walking Dead clearly transcends the screen into real life. He couldn’t be happier than to enjoy the spoils of fatherhood, in wonder of what each day of his growing family will bring forth.
