There’s danger ahead on Fear the Walking Dead season 3 episode 12. Here’s your synopsis of “Brother’s Keeper.”
In the world of Fear the Walking Dead there’s no such thing as total safety. Though Broke Jaw Ranch has been a bastion of safety up until this point, the fact is that there are still threats out there. One such threat is on its way in this week’s all new episode.
The official AMC synopsis of Fear the Walking Dead “Brother’s Keeper” is as follows:
“As Nick and Jake set out to handle a delicate situation, the Ranch prepares for a threat greater than any they’ve faced before.”
Let’s break down the synopsis because there is a lot to this. We have Nick and Jake working together, we have a “delicate situation” and we have the Ranch getting ready for a big threat. We don’t know (yet) whether Madison and Walker are back yet, and we don’t know if the water diviners were able to find usable water.
Nick and Jake aren’t on the same side. Nick is as much of a loose cannon as Jake’s banished brother Troy, so the idea of them finding common ground is hard to imagine. There’s also the matter of Nick being responsible for Jeremiah Otto’s death. While Troy already knows the truth, there’s no telling what Jake would do with that information and what that revelation would do for his relationship with Alicia.
When it comes to the “delicate situation” and the new threat to the Ranch, you can only assume a new group is moving into the area. The Ranch has been around long enough to know its neighbors, so any new threat must be from a new group. Unless it’s not a group and the threat is something else…water shortage, inner strife, rebellion or debilitating illness.
