Norman Reedus’ upcoming Death Stranding for PlayStation 4 is up for the ‘Most Wanted Game’ Award at Gameradar’s 2017 Golden Joystick Awards!

Death Stranding is one of thirteen games up for the ‘Most Wanted Game’ award at Gameradar’s 2017 Golden Joystick Awards. Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus’ high profile collaboration is going up against stiff competition including Walking Dead inspired The Last of Us: Part 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Metroid Prime 4, Spiderman, and God of War to name a few!

No easy task to climb on top of that mountain for any game. Regardless of prestige and lineage. Yet, the ever mysterious Death Stranding has a chance as good as any to take home the #1 spot with its original trailer toeing the line between game and cinema.

Norman Reedus fans, this is your opportunity to actively have your voice heard and show your support! You and only you can vote Death Stranding to the king’s throne when the votes are in and counted. Last year, EA’s Mass Effect: Andromeda took home the ‘Most Wanted Game’ award honors.

Gameradar’s Golden Joystick Awards is the popular video game award show in the world as of 2014 when it comes to voter participation. An astounding 9 million votes were cast for the award show that year. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was the ‘Most Wanted Game’ winner back then.

Death Stranding Director Hideo Kojima puts artist Yoji Shinkawa exit speculation to rest

More from Undead Walking

There were rumors recently that acclaimed artist Yoji Shinkawa (Metal Gear series, Zone of the Enders) renowned for his character, environmental, and mechanical designs had left Kojima Productions.

Speculation began at Tokyo’s Game Show ’17 when Square Enix revealed new mech game Left Alive and named Yoji Shinkawa as a key figure on the project.

Thankfully, Hideo Kojima’s assistant Ayako took to Twitter to confirm Yoji Shinkawa is still on board on Death Stranding and Kojima Productions as a whole.
