Walking Dead Variant Covers revealed for Image Comics’ 25th Anniversary

The Walking Dead’s comic variant covers have been revealed for Image Comics’ 25th anniversary, with legendary artist Todd McFarlane contributing.
Legendary artists like Spawn’s Todd McFarlane have supplied their own take on The Walking Dead in a special set of tribute variant covers for Image Comics’ 25th anniversary! Popular Image Comics franchises will pay tribute to Robert Kirkman’s and Charlie Adlard’s groundbreaking series. The special set of Walking Dead tribute variant comic covers is set to go on-sale in stores throughout October/November.
Image Comics was originally founded in 1992 as a way to allow comic creators to publish their original material without giving up copyrights to their respective characters. Essentially, becoming creator-owned properties, a game changer in the comic industry.

There’s no telling how limited these comic variants will be but if the past is anything to go by these collectibles will sell out quick. Particularly, as in this case you’re only involving devotees of other Image Comics’ franchises as well.
Double the demand by two fanbases, or potentially even more with general comic collectors. The print run will determine the overall value of these variant covers in the long run.
If you want your hands one of these prized variant covers, better purchase early than scour Ebay at reseller prices later.
Better to be safe than sorry when you find yourself shelling out $100 dollars or more for a cover you could have gotten at retail price or simply never owning it.

Collecting can be a pretty pricy hobby no matter what the subject matter or form of media. Resellers always in the midst scouting, speculating, and hoarding potential moneymakers. The early bird gets to purchase at retail price, while the rest go by market supply and demand.
