MVP from The Walking Dead episode 803 ‘Monsters’
By Adam Carlson
Which character was the MVP from season 8 episode 3 of AMC’s The Walking Dead titled ‘Monsters’ which aired on Sunday, November 5, 2017?
The survivors from Alexandria, The Hilltop, and The Kingdom continued to bring the fight to Negan and The Saviors during season 8 episode 3 of AMC’s zombie survival drama series The Walking Dead.
There was a lot happening, with emotional moments, epic battles, and some big farewells. However, there was one character from the episode titled ‘Monsters’ which went above and beyond the others.
This character was named out MVP for season 8 episode 3, which is something we do on a weekly basis here on Undead Walking. Without further ado, here is our choice:
The MVP from TWD 803 is Aaron!
There were some great options this week, including Rick Grimes for not being an absolute killing machine and using opportunities to get information and King Ezekiel for his successful assaults on The Saviors. But Aaron had a tough, yet fruitful episode.

First, Aaron left the battle to tend to Eric, who was wounded. Aaron tried to keep optimistic in the situation by telling him about the exit wound and putting him in a safe spot to share emotional moments.
Eric was able to talk Aaron into returning to the war. The returning effort was enough to help turn The Saviors away, but the battle raging on kept Eric from getting the kind of medical attention that could have helped him.
By the time that Aaron got back to him, it was too late. Aaron’s heartbreaking reaction to finding Eric as a walker shook the fandom and likely drew some tears from viewers as well.
Finally, Aaron taking baby Gracie back to The Hilltop to distract him from the pain of losing Eric was a nice touch. He needs to have a purpose and likely feels lost without Eric by his side or waiting for him.
