Take a peek at the December issue of The Walking Dead 174 titled ‘A Solitary Life’ with three panels from the comics which features a lonely familiar face.
In The Walking Dead comics, Negan has been exiled from Alexandria following his efforts in helping to protect Rick Grimes and the other residents from the horde of walkers let in by The Whisperers. Now that the war is over, fans were wondering what is next for the former leader of The Saviors.
We know that Dante has tracked Negan to a location where he has settled down. He has given Maggie a map with Negan’s new home marked on it and what she will do with that information is still unknown.
Thankfully, issue #174 of the comic book series looks as though it will focus on Negan and what he is doing now that he is on his own. Here are the preview panels from the issue titled ‘A Solitary Life’ as hosted on the official Skybound website for The Walking Dead:
Let’s break down a bit of what is going on in each of the three panels provided starting at the top and working our way down.

The first panel shows Negan doing some scavenging. He has found a semi truck overturned on the road and looked in the back. Inside there, he found something he really liked, proclaiming ‘JACKPOT’ in his own colorful way. It has to be assumed that this is food of some sort.
Next, the second panel shows Negan once again. He is near a broken down car, but there are also two walkers moving toward him. He must be having some fun out on the road because he’s doing his typical monologues.
Finally, Negan appears to have found some kind of home. He has eaten several cans of food and has a pitcher of some liquid near him. Plus, he’s got some kind of material for reading as well, which is hard to tell if it is a book, magazine or something else.
