Update: Amazon saved Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Christmas
After posting on Twitter that Amazon might have ruined the Morgan family Christmas, Amazon came through for The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the man who brings Negan to life on The Walking Dead, updated fans on Twitter that Amazon came through for him after posting that they failed to deliver a very important Christmas item and “saved Santa’s ass.”
After posting that he received a notification from Amazon that his package was going to be delivered on December 27, Amazon seems to have figured out that you really don’t want to make an enemy with the man who brings Negan to life. And you really don’t want to mess up Santa’s work with a failed Christmas delivery. As JDM noted in his post, “Santa doesn’t deliver on the 27th.” Here’s the original post:
Naturally Twitter came alive with fans who sent messages to Amazon that they were headed down the road to Pee Pee Pants City by messing up JDM’s shipment. Amazon responded quickly, asking JDM for more information and promising to help.
It took an extra day, but the people at Amazon came through with JDM’s shipment. JDM was very happy with the result, writing that “Amazon came thru, and saved Santa’s ass in the process! Thank you.”
Fans of The Walking Dead know that you don’t mess with Negan’s stuff, and now we know that you don’t mess with Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Christmas presents, either. (Some fans pointed out that he waited until the last minute to place the order, but in fairness Amazon promised a delivery date and after it expired said it would arrive five days later, so you can understand his frustration)
