Michonne preview teases the second half of The Walking Dead season 8

A new teaser for the second half of The Walking Dead season 8 featuring Michonne should excite about watching the next 8 episodes starting February 25th.
The Walking Dead has been making some bold moves in season 8 that have a major impact on the direction that the series will head as the survivors attempt to fight for their freedom in the zombie apocalypse.
Viewers won’t have to wait too long to find out what will happen next since the midseason premiere will air on February 25, 2017, but AMC offered up a new teaser video on their network with less than one week left heading into episode 809.
Here is the new teaser video showing some new footage from the final 8 episodes of season 8 as shared on the Twitter account of AMC’s The Walking Dead:

The video shared is an intense one that shines a light brightly on Michonne, who is closing a gate while walkers are attempting to get in.

As she closes the gate, a piece of metal sticking out get stuck on a walker’s face, tearing the flesh right off the undead monster and revealing the grotesque layers underneath while other zombies push him forward.
Michonne takes a cue from that moment to use her sword to eliminate the walkers, slashing their heads one at a time from different angles until she gets a very startled took on her face. Did she see a familiar face among the dead? Was there just too many of them? Or is there a survivor on the other side? Fans will have to watch to find out.
Of course, there is no better cast member to promote The Walking Dead right now than Danai Gurira. The Michonne actress is currently in the top movie in the world, Marvel’s Black Panther, and using that exposure is a fantastic strategy for building excitement for season 8.
