Adorable The Walking Dead season 8 photos feature Carl and Judith

Photos featuring Judith and Carl Grimes are adorable yet heartbreaking as The Walking Dead heads into the second half of season 8 on February 25, 2018.
It is a conflicting time for fans of The Walking Dead. While looking forward to the rest of All-Out War there is also the fact that viewers will be losing Carl Grimes very soon after he was bitten by a walker while fighting in the woods.
While this is a huge diversion from the comic book source material, most viewers of the hit AMC television show do not read the graphic novels and will get a completely unique story from here on out.
The reality of this situation hit home in a big way in three new photos from season 8 episode 9 of The Walking Dead. Check them out here:

These photos are adorable. Carl and Judith have shared many scenes before on the AMC zombie survival drama series, but none of them showed the two interacting in this way like a brother and sister should.

The first shows Carl taking photos with Judith on the front steps of their home in Alexandria using the same kind of instant camera we have seen Rick and The Saviors use to chronicle their adventures.
Next, Carl is holding Judith on his lap while sitting in a chair on the porch of their home in Alexandria. With his arm around her, the two relax and share a calm moment without worrying too much about war and The Saviors!
Finally, a light-hearted moment involving some blue paint on the porch of their home in Alexandria has Judith’s hand covered in paint while there is also some on the wooden porch. Carl appears to have a blue hand, showing the two are being playful.

These photos are bittersweet. While it’s touching to see the siblings together, it is also crushing to see them spending time together knowing that Carl’s time on the show will be coming to an end during season 8 of The Walking Dead.
