‘Carl’s Journey’ teases The Walking Dead season 8 midseason premiere

Remembering the journey that Carl has taken through seven and a half seasons on The Walking Dead teases the AMC show’s season 8 midseason premiere.
AMC’s zombie survival drama series The Walking Dead will return from its midseason break when season 8 episode 9 titled ‘Honor’ will premiere at 9 pm eastern time on Sunday, February 25, 2018.
The episode should be an emotional one, with the assumption being that the midseason premiere will be many of the characters saying farewell to Carl Grimes, who was recently bitten by a walker in the woods.

It’s interesting to see just how much Carl has grown up since his debut in season 1. Chandler Riggs grew up over the years and seeing that change each year on the show seemed greatly significant compared to everyone else.

Still, there are plenty of great moments that Carl had during his time on the show. Protecting his father from the undead after the battle with The Governor at the prison is an unforgettable time in the series that showed the character’s evolution.
Not only that, but the boy who needed to be told consistently to stay in the house in early seasons became a fighter who wasn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve and help others in need if he thought they were good people.
The Walking Dead will not be the same without Carl Grimes, but fans can be assured that the midseason finale will give him a huge sendoff as the survivors continue to fight against Negan and The Saviors during All-Out War.
