Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan share pictures, name of baby girl

Hilarie Burton shared pictures of her daughter along with her name so that husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan won’t spill any more family secrets.

The Walking Dead Family has been eagerly awaiting news of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton’s baby girl. Burton gave everyone a big surprise on Tuesday morning with a touching post on Instagram featuring pictures of Baby Morgan with her family, a heartfelt message to women struggling with fertility, and Baby Morgan’s name: George Virginia Morgan.

Burton noted that her husband is leaving for the Walker Stalker Conventions in Europe and that he has a history of revealing family secrets during panels. Since he knows this is a problem he has – and what proud papa wouldn’t want to talk about his baby girl!? – Burton wanted to help take the pressure off by sharing the first photos of their daughter along with her name. The pictures show little George with her mom, dad, and big brother.

Burton noted that it wasn’t an easy road for them with this baby and she shared that she and Morgan lost several babies before their daughter arrived, hence the hesitation and trepidation they had in sharing news about the pregnancy. She sends a message of hope to other families having the same challenges with getting pregnant: “Fertility is a fickle thing. And for the other couples out there who have had dark days, we want to introduce our miracle baby to you and send you our love and support in finding yours.”
