A new Fear The Walking Dead season 4 teaser shows Alicia with new character Naomi. The full trailer will be released on Sunday, March 25th.
Fear The Walking Dead released a new teaser trailer for season 4 that shows Alicia walking with new character Naomi, played by Jenna Elfman. The two look like they are going to scavenge at an abandoned water park. They seem pretty comfortable with one another, which is a good indication that when the story jumps forward they will already know each other.
The full trailer for season 4 of Fear The Walking Dead will premiere during Talking Dead on March 25th. As the new season of Fear gets closer fans are getting very excited to see how the characters from Fear survived the explosion at the dam in season 3 finale. And how they ended up in Texas, where season 4 takes place.
There will be a large time jump in the Fear The Walking Dead storyline that will bring Fear and The Walking Dead to the same timeline. During that time jump, some new characters will appear played by John Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman, and Maggie Grace. And at least one favorite character that has been missing since the beginning of season 3, Luciana, will be returning to Fear TWD in season 4.
The full trailer for the new season should set the scene for season 4 which will debut after The Walking Dead season 8 finale on April 15th. In the meantime you can see the new teaser as shared on the show’s official Twitter account here:
A New Start For Fear The Walking Dead
It was a surprise when it was announced that Morgan Jones would be crossing over from The Walking Dead to Fear The Walking Dead because previously it was said that there would never be a crossover and that the two shows would remain separate.
More from Undead Walking
- Walking Dead alum Jayson Warner Smith promotes new film, Chipper, watch it now
- Walking Dead actor Chandler Riggs filming new movie in Tampa Bay
- Why is there no season 12 of The Walking Dead?
- Will Morgan Jones find Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live spinoff?
- Watch Tales of TWD actress Jillian Bell in Prime Video’s Candy Cane Lane
But Fear struggled a bit during seasons 1 and 2 and while season 3 was an improvement the show still seemed like it was unsure of what direction the story was going to take. By adding a time jump and the crossover the show seems to have finally landed on a solid direction that will reference the early seasons but move the story forward in a cohesive way.
A Darker Fear
Judging by the look and feel of the new Fear that has been seen in the teaser trailers season 4 is going to be a lot darker, grittier and more intense than the past seasons. Season 3, set at the Brokejaw Ranch, touched briefly on hot-button cultural issues regarding race and immigration but with the time jump, the survivors should now be focused only on survival instead of issues that are no longer relevant now that society has disappeared.
