MVP from The Walking Dead episode 814: Still Gotta Mean Something
By Adam Carlson
One character went above and beyond during season 8 episode 14 of AMC’s The Walking Dead. Here is our MVP from ‘Still Gotta Mean Something’.
With only two episodes remaining in season 8 of The Walking Dead, a lot had to happen in episode 814 to help set up what should be an explosive conclusion to All-Out War in the season finale on April 15, 2018.
A lot happened during this episode, with Jadis holding Negan hostage, the prisoners from The Saviors outpost being wiped out, and a plan being hatched to eliminate the production of bullets to help Negan’s army.
Still, there was one character who excelled more than others during season 8 episode 15 titled ‘Still Gotta Mean Something’ and deserves to be recognized for their efforts. After much consideration, that individual has been determined.
THE MVP FOR TWD 814 IS CAROL PELETIER
This started out as a rough episode for Carol. She completely shut out Ezekiel after he tried talking to her about the situation with Henry and the escaped prisoners from The Saviors outpost that were being held at The Hilltop.

However, all it took was for more people close to her to be in danger to convince her to leave the community. When Morgan was going to venture on his own to find Henry and kill The Saviors, Carol couldn’t let him go on his own.
Going after Henry was something extremely hard for Carol. She lost her daughter Sophia in a similar incident back in the show’s second season. She also understands that Morgan is in a fragile place right now and the smallest incident could push him over the edge.
Thankfully, she was able to keep an eye on Morgan while tracking down where Henry had gone, saving him from walkers near a riverbank in a situation much like what happened with Sophia, but with better results.
When she returned to The Hilltop, she was finally able to open up to Ezekiel about her past, her current feelings, and appreciate his concern for her in a way she hadn’t been able to before. And doing so may help to keep her sanity in the long run.
