All Out War has been building to this moment and now it’s time for the war to end on the season finale of The Walking Dead, “Wrath.”

We’ve reached the season finale of The Walking Dead and it’s time for “Wrath.” Will Rick’s mercy prevail over his wrath, or is it light’s out for the Saviors and their charismatic leader?

Episode 815, “Worth,” thinned the herd for the Saviors. Negan has long suspected that he had traitors in his ranks, and upon his return to the Sanctuary he learned that Simon was out plotting against him so he had to put a stop to it. He also learned the truth about Dwight, thanks to Laura, Negan’s mystery passenger from “Still Gotta Mean Something.”

Heading into the season finale, we now know that Negan set Dwight up by giving him fake plans to deliver to Rick. He knew Dwight was the mole, and Dwight played right into his hands by giving Gregory an escape method so that he could take Negan’s map to Rick. That means Rick could be walking into a trap, which is right where Negan wants him.

Take a look at the preview for the season finale:

As you can see, preparations for battle are in full swing. Rick and Michonne emerge from the Hilltop’s walls hand in hand along with Daryl, Rosita, Jerry and Ezekiel. Morgan says they need to end this infernal war because they’re no better off than they were in the beginning. Negan takes a look at his bullet supply, courtesy of Eugene, and then the attack begins.

We see Carol leading an attack while Eugene captures Gabriel and has a gun to his head. Dwight wears the same “A” shirt that Daryl wore. Jadis shows up at the Heap. And then the battle begins.
