Talking Dead guests for Fear TWD 402: Another Day in the Diamond

The matriarch of Fear the Walking Dead will be joining Chris Hardwick this week on Talking Dead, airing April 22, 2018, as the after show moves to its new time at 11pm.

Fear the Walking Dead returned last week with a whole new look and a bunch of new faces, but Mama Madison was missing from the action. Never fear, though, because Kim Dickens,  Madison Clark herself, will be joining Chris Hardwick on Talking Dead this week following the “Another Day in the Diamond” episode. Along with Dickens is a surprise guest, which can mean a lot of things this early in the new season.

Fans of The Walking Dead universe know that surprise guests on Talking Dead can mean a lot of things, and there will be another surprise guest on Chris Hardwick’s couch on April 22. It could be a surprise new cast member, someone who died or someone who hasn’t confirmed yet. Given the number of new faces on Fear the Walking Dead, it seems likely that this week’s surprise guest might be a new cast member or a member of the crew.

As many eagle-eyed fans noted in the season premiere, the Clark family was missing its matriarch in the first episode. She was the only person confirmed to have survived at the end of season 3, so it would make sense to see her at the start of the season. However, we also know that the time has already jumped around because Morgan is now in the Clarks’ timeline. The fact that Kim Dickens is on Talking Dead makes us feel pretty confident that Madison isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

Talking Dead will air on Sundays at 11pm following Fear the Walking Dead at 9pm and Into the Badlands at 10pm.
