At first pass hers is a tragic story, too. The sole survivor of some kind of attack, Charlie is on her own. Madison found her and now they’re trying to help find her people.
Wrong.
Little Charlie is a secret agent for the Vultures. All the time she spent inside the ballpark was to learn about their defenses. She knows about the weevils and she knows how many guns they have. And she was sending this information to Mel the whole time.
The look of shock on Nick and Madison’s faces was priceless. They had no idea the little girl they were trying to help was a double crosser.
Let this be a lesson learned: Never, ever trust little girls in the apocalypse.
It doesn’t matter how sweet and innocent they seem. They’re probably out to get you somehow, so you can’t trust any of them. (I mean this in jest. Kind of. But not really.)
