Fear the Walking Dead 403 preview: Good Out Here

Fear the Walking Dead continues with another thrilling story of survival. This week we see the two groups come together in “Good Out Here.”

As we we return to Al’s SWAT van in this week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead, we can only hope that the two groups can learn more about each other. The only way this is going to work is for the groups to understand that they’re on the same team – we think – and that they are working toward a common goal.

Here’s the synopsis of “Good Out Here”:

"“Madison and Morgan try to help Nick find inner peace; a quest for revenge exacts its toll on the group.”"

What we know from the previews is that Morgan, Althea and John and out with Alicia, Strand, Luciana and Nick. We don’t see Madison, but the synopsis suggests that we run into Madison and she gets to meet Morgan this week.

This will be the pivotal moment as the OG of Fear the Walking Dead meets the OG of The Walking Dead. Both characters were on their respective shows at the beginning. Morgan, unlike Rick, knows what it was like from the start. He has lost his wife and son, just as Madison lost Travis.

We learned in “Another Day in the Diamond” that Nick is still having trouble leaving the safety of the ballpark, even after a year has passed since their arrival in addition to however much time passed since the dam. Morgan has struggled with his own demons, and though he’s not an addict like Nick, Morgan might be able to offer Nick some guidance when it comes to pulling things together. That is, if Morgan can pull himself together enough to do it.

It will also be fun to see the two groups converge and merge into one unit. Once it’s understood that they’re not vultures, I think John, Al and Morgan will fit in nicely with everyone else.
