1) This episode’s use of the ‘BEFORE’ screen, while seen a few times in The Walking Dead, is the first use of it in Fear.

2) It’s interesting to see Madison, in talking to Charlie, appear to fall back into her old profession as a counselor. Unless you count her relationship with Troy, this is the first time we’ve seen her do so since the outbreak began.

3) As Charlie points in the direction of where she comes from, the music becomes quite ominous, providing some nice foreshadowing for the end of the episode.

4) This episode’s title sequence shows a convoy instead of a lone campfire at night. It seems like the title sequence now gives clues to events or characters we met in the episode.

5) This episode’s name is a reference to the P.A. announcer reminding the residents “Today is day 365 In The Diamond.”

6) With it clearly being a year since The Diamond was established as a community, the real question is: How long since the end of Season Three has it been?

7) “The Diamond” is Dell Diamond, an actual Triple-A ballpark in Round Rock, Texas. This might the first landmark location in Fear to represent itself in the series, and not be a stand-in for someplace else.
