AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead has been playing around with the past and present during season 4, but the two stories will come together eventually.

During season 4 of Fear The Walking Dead, the show has been giving fans a glimpse into the present as well as the past to tell the story of The Vultures as the survivors attempt to survive at a baseball field.

Despite bouncing between the two times, the story has been revealed in powerful fashion and includes major death, surprising twists, and amazing character introductions to make season 4 the best season of the show yet!

The initial thought was that the two stories would come together during the midseason finale of the show on June 10, 2018, but some information came from the mailbag on TheWalkingDead.com to change that idea.

A fan using the handle @GroupOfGamers and going by the name Jack on Twitter asked the following question regarding when the two stories will come together:

The surprising answer was a pretty clear-cut ‘NO’.

"“We’ll definitely see a lot of closure with the past timeline, but we won’t truly reach one timeline until the second half of the season.”"

The fact that the two stories will take more time to come together is both a great and bad thing. Fans likely want to see the situation with The Vultures be resolved, but if there is more story to tell that likely means there will be more twists and turns to enjoy along the way and in the second half of season 4.

Of course, the biggest question out there right now is where Madison is….and if she is even alive in the present time. The story will likely inch closer to revealing that fact as well as the final outcome at the baseball field, and should make for some great television as it all unfolds.
