Here’s the official synopsis of Fear the Walking Dead “The Wrong Side of Where You Are Now” from AMC:
“Madison’s decision to help an adversary has unintended consequences; John Dorie’s life hangs in the balance.”
This is the penultimate episode leading up to the midseason finale, and if we’re reading AMC’s synopsis carefully there’s a good chance that we’ll finally understand what happened in the past that led to the animosity with the Vultures in the present. Madison has been missing from the present while all of the other players are present and accounted for. (Though some, like Nick and Ennis, have passed away in the present)
Could it be that the decision Madison makes in “The Wrong Side of where You Are Now” ties into what happened to her? Does she join forces with the Vultures? Does her family leave her because of this decision? Is she still alive, or is she gone?
There are still so many unresolved issues stemming from the dual timelines, so we can only hope to receive more clarity with this week’s all-new episode. With the midseason finale looming, it is almost certain that things are about to go sideways in Texas.
