Overall impression of FearTWD 407

While this episode of Fear The Walking Dead wasn’t a great as several of the others during season 4, it did a great job of setting the stage for a crazy situation at the baseball field and battle between The Vultures and the survivors.

It’s crazy to think that Mel and his brother are both dead, but there are still some members of the group alive that could be trouble for the survivors in the current story, but right now all the focus should be on the past, mainly Madison and the baseball field.

Next week’s episode should have a lot of action and possibly quite a bit of drama, and the stage for all of that was set nicely by AMC, especially with the June 10, 2018 episode being the show’s midseason finale.

Al still seems to need some more time and development, but knowing that John is still alive, Morgan is keeping his role going, and Naomi continues to emerge is all the show needs in addition to some great acting from the show’s returning cast.

As a whole, this was a good episode, but just not great. Still, the storytelling and action were solid and it felt like a necessary part of the story. EPISODE GRADE: 7.8/10
