The Walking Dead to release 15th anniversary box set of comics

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Walking Dead comic books, a new box set including TONS of great content will be released on October 15th.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 15 years since Robert Kirkman and Image Comics introduced the world to Rick Grimes and the zombie apocalypse in The Walking Dead comic book series.
Since then, fans have seen a myriad of great characters and powerful moments grace the pages of the comics and fans will have the opportunity to have a box set containing special editions of the compendiums along with bonus content to celebrate Walking Dead Day on October 15, 2018.
Announced on the official Skybound website for The Walking Dead, the box will include the first 144 issues of the series from the three compendiums, a unique version of ‘Here’s Negan’ along with the backstories of Michonne, The Governor, Tyrese, and Morgan.
The packaging features artwork from Charlie Adlard, whose name has become synonymous with the style from the popular comic book series and adds a unique touch to the packaging the box set arrives in.
Adlard spoke about this box set in the press release, discussing the artwork and contents of the product as well as longevity of the series.
"“I can’t quite believe it’s been 15 years. This is an amazing box set and it’s something that I would be proud to have on my bookshelf…” said Adlard. “Here’s to the next anniversary!”"
