Fear The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week: How far is too far gone?
By Liam O'Leary
#4: Using zombies as a weapon.
While I can maybe find some kind of extenuating circumstances or at least have some glimmer of hope that people doing the previous entries could be walked back, if you’re using zombies as a weapon against people, that’s it. If you want something that defines the idea of “too far gone”, using zombies as a weapon is it.
Now, I’m not talking about using them as some kind of barricade, distraction, or as some sort of trap against a superior force of hostiles. What I’m talking about is siccing zombies on people for the expressed purpose of having them get torn apart by them. It is a despicable thing, tantamount to using biological warfare on people.
Yet, this is precisely what Ennis did to Madison’s group. He took all three thousand oil-soaked infected The Vultures had collected along the train route, unleashed them on The Diamond, and set fire to them, just for good measure.
What does this make Ennis? In short: A cruel, sick, malicious person.
If you should meet a person who does this, get rid of them, quickly. If they do it once, they won’t have any problems doing it again…because they don’t really value human life.
Frankly, any one of the traits I mentioned in this list is a good indicator that you’re dealing with someone too far gone, but, if they do this, it’s practically guaranteed.
