The Walking Dead stars Flex 4 Forces to support troops
Thanks to Jensen Ackles from Supernatural, the Flex 4 Forces Challenge is spreading through The Walking Dead cast to show support for our troops.
The Fourth of July holiday is a great time to show thanks to military men and women who work hard to keep us safe, and the Flex 4 Forces Challenge is an opportunity for people to post pictures of their flexed biceps to show support for the troops. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles challenged The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and now it’s spreading through the cast.
The Flex 4 Forces Challenge was initiated by the USO as a means to show support for the men and women who protect our country, both past and present. The campaign began in May and was set to end July 4, but from the look of things it is going to continue now that it has reached the cast of The Walking Dead.
Here’s how it all started, courtesy of Jensen Ackles (and his daughter):

Next came Norman Reedus, who added some artwork to his pose:

And then Steven Ogg got into the action, proudly showing off his guns:

These challenges offer a fun way to support a cause while also showing another side to the celebrities who brighten our lives. In this case it was fun to see to whom the cast issued challenges. Morgan sent it to Reedus and Ogg, but Reedus didn’t send it to members of The Walking Dead cast, opting instead to send it to Mickey Rourke, Marilyn Manson and Paul Reubens (aka Pee Wee Herman).
