Teaser trailer released for season 9 of AMC’s The Walking Dead
By Sonya Iryna
The Walking Dead season 9 trailer drops at SDCC tomorrow but today a teaser trailer was released showing the first look at TWD season 9.
Fans are anxiously awaiting the premiere of the full The Walking Dead season 9 trailer at The Walking Dead panel at San Diego Comic Con. But today AMC dropped a little hint about what’s coming with a teaser trailer featuring Michonne talking to Maggie about making rules for the community and showing glimpses of the communities after All Out War. Negan also has a voiceover in the teaser trailer.
The teaser shows some upcoming conflict and hints at some animosity among the communities as they try to figure out a new normal and work out an agreement for all the communities to live in peace. But there’s also hints of some romances and happy moments too, like a kiss between Nabila and Jerry from The Kingdom.
The 30-second teaser trailer has an ominous feel that the full trailer may or may not have. Since season 9 picks up after a time jump the communities must have found some way to get along with each other in that time, but there could be flashbacks showing how that peace came about. Another thing that fans are hoping to see in the full The Walking Dead season 9 trailer is a look at Hershel, Maggie and Glenn’s son, who would have been born during the time jump.

The Walking Dead SDCC Panel
The Walking Dead is back in Hall H tomorrow for the annual SDCC panel but this year the panel will be smaller than in years past with only five cast members attending. The executive producers and new showrunner Angela Kang will also be on the panel. The panels for both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead are being moderated this year by Yvette Nicole Brown. The full season 9 trailer will be debuted during the panel tomorrow.
There’s been a lot of uncertainty about the future of the show with rumors swirling about Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan leaving the show in season 9 but nothing has been confirmed by AMC or the stars themselves.

The Walking Dead season 9 trailer should answer some questions for fans and get the fandom excited for a new beginning with new stories, new characters, and maybe a little peace and happiness for the original characters who have been fighting for so long.
