The Walking Dead comics are entering dangerous territory as Rick Grimes has allowed the people from The Commonwealth to check out Alexandria and the other communities after getting scoped out by Eugene, Michonne, and others.

With issue 182 titled ‘The Commonwealth Grows’ being released on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, fans are wondering what the upcoming installment of the series will hold for their favorite characters going forward.

So much could happen in the August issue that fans are speculating about the events of the issue…just like we are at Undead Walking! Here are 5 predictions for what to expect when the comic is released:

1. The people of The Kingdom will be on the fence. They are pretty happy with their current living situation and don’t quite know what to think of Pamela and her group. Little time is spent there until everyone moves on.
2. John is very skeptical of Pamela. John isn’t a man who trusts the words of people very well. However, when he realizes this is a chance for him to get his people out of the horrible living conditions of The Sanctuary, he gains some interest.
3. Rick sees Pamela’s strategy. Despite her sneaking away to talk to John alone, Rick realizes that taking The Sanctuary away from the community would greatly weaken them. However, he also knows how much of a liability they can be, meaning there may be some benefits to letting them go.
4. Dwight has trouble letting go. He wants to let bygones be bygones, but Dwight just can’t deal with the lack of respect and understanding he gets from Rick, especially after the death of Sherry. His anger will start to grow once again, frustrating Tara.
5. Michonne gets more hints that The Commonwealth isn’t calm. The rumblings of an uprising are circling the community and Elodie lets Michonne know, making her decide whether to report it to the officials or not.
