The bad things

  1. Morgan heading back to The Walking Dead. If bringing Morgan to Fear The Walking Dead isn’t anything more than a short-term gimmick, then it’s a major mistake for a show that could have used the opportunity to focus more on civilization falling apart and early stages of the apocalypse. Let’s hope he sticks around a while.
  2. Strand is really living it up. Solar panels, wine, fine art, and a massive mansion. Victor is really living the life. However, it would have been nice to see him humbled and a bit more willing to work with the other survivors, showing he learned something from the death of his ‘drinking buddy’. Heck, he still thinks of their group as being scary people.
  3. Luciana has become afraid. It’s interesting that Luciana now doesn’t want to step foot in Al’s truck or venture out considering that’s the same predicament that Nick was previously in. However, she can’t just stay in the bedroom listening to depressing records for her whole life…right?
  4. Living in oblivion. Drunk on the couch. Jamming out to music. Letting walkers in. At a house where two survivors are living, stuff like that shouldn’t be happening. Good thing Strand came to his senses in time to save Luciana. These two have a long way to go before they’re ready for the outside world again.
  5. Being afraid of others not accepting you. While Laura might have turned out to be June, they really aren’t all that different. All she has to do is keep being herself and if that’s good with John, then it’s great! Living in fear that you’re not going to meet others expectations is no way of living.
  6. Flying walkers. Understandably, creating realistic looking walkers getting picked up by the storm can be a huge challenge, but making them look passable is important. There were a few walkers who looked like they were getting CGI dragged across the screen, but anything is better than that deer from The Walking Dead!
