Rick and Michonne featured on The Walking Dead issue 187 cover

The cover art from The Walking Dead issue 187 has two major characters from the popular comic book series in a pose that is a bit interesting.
There have been many interesting developments in The Walking Dead comics since the introduction of The Commonwealth. However, one of the most intriguing has been what is going on with Michonne.
Known for her days with Rick as being an excellent fighter, she has turned in her sword swinging for the courtroom as a defense attorney and has settled in with her recently rediscovered daughter Elodie.
In January 2019, a new issue of The Walking Dead will be released and the cover art shared on the Skybound website is pretty interesting. Here is that cover:
This is just a strange cover for several reasons. First, it’s tough to think the images of Michonne and Rick are directly related. Rick looks frustrated or disappointed about something while Michonne looks like something out of a Phoenix Wright video game.
Still, you’d have to think that the weight of Rick trying to figure out what to do with The Commonwealth and Michonne has to decide if she wants to continue defending people who do wrong in the community.
