14) Aaron is the fourth member of the group to have something amputated, behind Merle (Hand, in the very third episode, “Tell It To The Frogs”), Hershel (Lower leg, in the Season Three premiere, “Seed”), and Tyreese (Arm, in the Season Five midseason premiere, “What Happened And What’s Going On”).

15) Michonne being surprised to learn of Hershel’s alcoholism should not be surprising to any of us, as Michonne didn’t join the group until well after Hershel confessed his addiction back in Season Two’s midseason premiere, “Nebraska”.

16) During her discussion about Gregory’s punishment, Maggie expresses no remorse, saying that Gregory had multiple chances, and squandered them all. She’s not wrong: If we count his attempt to sell Maggie and Sasha out to Simon in Season Seven’s “Go Getters”, his attempt to get Hilltop to abandon the war effort in the Season Eight premiere, “Mercy”, and his attempt to come crawling back to Simon after the latter’s failed attack on Hilltop in “Worth”, he’s been given at least three chances to redeem himself, and failed each time.

17) After Rick ends his discussion with Negan, we cut back to Anne keeping watch from a boom lift, where she spots a helicopter, which we’ve seen visit her at the dump in the Season Eight episodes, “The Big Scary U” and “Still Gotta Mean Something”. What the deal is with Anne and the helicopters? Who’s flying them? And what relationship, if any, does that person/people have with Anne?

18) This episode gets its name from the thing which most of the episode (In one way or another) has largely revolved around: The Bridge connecting The Sanctuary to the other communities.

19) What happened to Justin as the episode ended? Was he attacked or grabbed by someone? The other Savior walk-offs? Is this foreshadowing a Savior “rebellion”? A civil war?
