Preview of The Walking Dead comic issue 186: The Powder Keg

Take a look at three panels from issue 186 of The Walking Dead comic book series titled “The Powder Keg” before it is released on Dec. 5, 2018.

It’s almost time for another issue of The Walking Dead comics to be released and that means Skybound and Image Comics also release their teasers for the upcoming installment to get readers excited.

That preview page has been released and each individual panel included in the teaser looks like it could have some impact on the future of the comic book series and impact several characters in a major way.

In the first panel, Josh is looking for a place to sit down his tray and eat at The Hilltop. He asks Sophia if he can sit down next to her, which is interesting considering she was struggling just last issue for someone to be intimate with. Could this be the start of a new relationship?

Next, the leaders from The Commonwealth and Alexandria are standing together outside. Pamela has a smile on her face, but it can be hard to tell if she is genuine or not with her facial expressions. The reason they are gathered is the bigger question.

Finally, Rick is at Michonne’s apartment and they are talking about what Rick had heard. Assumingly, this is about Mercer confirming to Rick that Dwight’s thoughts about The Commonwealth are valid and that action may be necessary.
