Cover analysis: The Walking Dead comic issue 189 Lines Are Drawn
By Adam Carlson
Take a look at the cover for the March 2019 cover for The Walking Dead comic book and see what information we know about the upcoming issue.
Although March is still a few months away, it is always fun to take a look ahead at future issues of The Walking Dead and see if any information can be figured out by looking at the art featured on the cover.
It’s crazy to think that March will be issue 189 and that issue 200 will be right around the corner and be less than a year away at that point in time. However, there are some pressing issues to deal with as far as the current story is involved.
For that, let’s take a look
Explosions, guns, rubble, and fighting. This seemed like something that would eventually have to happen at The Commonwealth after everything that happened involving the riot, Dwight, and the leadership issues stemming from Pamela Milton.
From the artwork, it looks like Siddiq and Laura are with someone (possibly from The Commonwealth) and are taking cover around a corner. This conflict means things will likely break down before the survivors even get to return to Alexandria, which doesn’t spell well for the division between Rick and Michonne at this point as well as Pamela’s ambush of the peace negotiations.
Here is the rest of the information we know thanks to the official Skybound website for The Walking Dead:
