The Walking Dead continues with season 9 with episode 15, “The Calm Before.” Here’s your synopsis of the all-new episode airing March 24, 2019.

This is it, TWD Family. The penultimate episode of The Walking Dead season 9 arrives with “The Calm Before.” With this being the last episode before the season finale, you can imagine that it’s anything but calm.

Season 9 has been a refreshing change of pace for the zombie show that has seen so many cast members come and go as life in the apocalypse trudges along. The previous episode, “Scars,” was important to establish who was at the Kingdom for the fair while also revealing why Michonne was so worried about letting people in. But in reliving her past, Michonne came to terms with making sure she doesn’t lose the people around her forever.

Here’s the episode description of The Walking Dead “The Calm Before” from AMC:

“The fair at the Kingdom is underway, with all four communities coming together in celebration for the first time in years; while some pacts are renewed, other deals will come at a much steeper price.”

This week’s episode promises to pack a powerful punch for the show. With the fair underway and the Whisperers looming, nothing good can from this. Henry took a big risk going on his rescue mission to save Lydia, and Daryl took a big risk stealing them back from the Whisperer camp. Alpha isn’t going to take this lightly. In order to save Henry and Lydia, Daryl and Connie had to unleash a herd of walkers into the Whisperer camp. Alpha won’t take that lightly either.
