Preview of The Walking Dead comic issue 191: The Last Stand

With how issue 190 of The Walking Dead comics came to an end, fans have to be curious about what will happen in the next installment of the story. Thankfully, readers won’t have to wait much longer to find out.

Issue 191 titled “The Last Stand” will be released on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 and should pick up right where the April’s edition of the popular Image Comics and Skybound publication left things off.

Three preview panels for the upcoming issue have been released and each one shows a little bit about the big standoff happening in the streets of the Commonwealth. Here are the panels as shared by The Walking Dead artist Charlie Adlard on Facebook:

It’s not surprising that none of the panels really give much away. Considering there will either be a massive battle in the streets of the Commonwealth or something will happen to stop the violence, it is smart not to give anything away regarding how things will shake out for Pamela and Rick.

The biggest surprise from the panels is in the center, where Pamela seems to be looking at Sebastian in disbelief and asking him what he is doing. The question of whether or not Sebastian might actually do something positive or smart is still unlikely, but maybe he learned something in his last meeting with Rick Grimes.

The synopsis for the issue doesn’t give anything away either, with a vague statement that says SOMETHING will happen, but no clues are hinted at as to what it will be.

"“Words are spoken. Alliances are broken. All the trouble that’s been brewing in the Commonwealth finally comes to a head.”"
