Which Cast Members Will Show Up?

The reality is that the panel is only about 45 minutes in duration and after introductions, applause breaks and the inevitable jokes and laughs there really isn’t a lot of time for the cast to talk, so it’s often better to have fewer cast members in attendance simply because they won’t all be able to talk. Of course, the TWD Family loves to have as many members of the cast and crew as possible!

Melissa McBride was conspicuously absent from The Walking Dead panel in 2019. McBride doesn’t do a lot of conventions, but SDCC is one where you would expect the entire cast to show up. Thankfully she attended NYCC during the show’s premiere, though, so there’s every hope that the woman who brings Carol to life will be in San Diego and New York in 2019.

Perennial favorites Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus are expected to be in attendance, and this might be a chance for newcomers Cailey Fleming and Cassady McClincy to experience the thrill of SDCC. And who knows, maybe Lauren Cohan might make an appearance!

While the season 10 trailer is definitely something everyone wants to see, having a chance to say THANK YOU and goodbye to Danai Gurira will be a huge part of the panel. Though she’ll be back to SDCC in the future for her Marvel roles, this might be the last time she sits on a panel for The Walking Dead.

Will Samantha Morton show up at SDCC? Just imagine the possibilities of having Morton on the stage with Ryan Hurst, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride: The OG survivors and the newest villains. This would be very exciting.
