Third The Walking Dead TV series adds two more regulars to the cast

More details are coming out about the upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff including two new cast members and the names of the characters.
Amidst all of the news coming out of San Diego Comic-Con in regards to The Walking Dead franchise, there is now more information about the third television series set in the undead world.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Aliyah Royale has joined the cast in the role of Iris and Annet Mahendru was been cast as a character named Huck. These two additions join the show as series regulars alongside Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, and Hal Cumpston.
While details about the overall story and plot are still being kept quiet, the names of the first three cast members have been revealed. Mansour will be playing a character named Hope, Cantu is playing Elton, and Cumpston is Silas. These cast members were announced earlier this month, but their character names have now been officially stated.
Speaking to fans in Hall H at SDCC, Chief Content Officer and co-creator of this spinoff Scott M. Gimple teased this about the plot and characters:
"“These kids grew up in a place of comfort and security, but they leave everything on a dangerous quest, and end up being pursued by adults on their own own dangerous quest. We’ll see kids become heroes and some become villains.”"
Production on the spinoff series is currently underway in Richmond, Virginia and is being directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While no footage was shown at SDCC, it was announced by Gimple that a “visual preview” of the series is coming on July 29th.
